Fallen Fate Online

Chapter 134 Is The World White Or Black?

Streams of wind rushed past the girl, slowing beside Zayne. He stared into her eyes for an unknown amount of time before her lips came into motion.

"Looks like I finally waited for the hero who freed me from my long capture..." The girl uttered, captivating Zayne with her voice.

"Who are you?" Zayne muttered with a dazed expression.

The girl took a few steps forward, lifting her massive blue-bladed sword from the ground. She glanced at Zayne, "It\'s too early for you to know this, but you will definitely become one of us in the future, you have a lot of Fate\'s energy in you. My name is Selania, nice to meet you."

Step. Step. Step.

Selania walked up to Zayne and asked, "What\'s your name? Who are you, Traveler?"

Zayne answered without hesitation, "Zayne Fellen..."

Selania nodded, "That\'s a good name. Well, since you\'re the one who saved me, there\'s only one thing I can do.

Selania inhaled and held out her hand, "Become my helper and step into the path of the great power of Fate."

[You have received an offer from Selania, also known as ???]

[Take the offer to become one of the Fate Knights, and receive the Heroic Rank Class!]

\'Heroic Rank... That\'s even better than my sword, isn\'t it?\' Zayne internally muttered in disbelief as he gulped.

Zayne thrust his hand forward without hesitation, responding to the handshake. A slight smile appeared on Selania\'s face, then Zayne said, "I agr..."

Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.

At the very last moment, when Zayne should have given his consent, something changed. Selania\'s eyes went wide as the blue rune on Zayne\'s shoulder flashed brightly, like a star before it exploded and unleashed all its energy.

Zayne got goosebumps as someone\'s hand fell on his shoulder. He didn\'t need to turn around, he understood it just as he saw the silhouette\'s reflection in Selania\'s frightened eyes.

"Don\'t be in such a hurry... You didn\'t come here to go that way... Have you forgotten what that knight told you already? Well, I think you have to see it for yourself to make a decision." Gael muttered, engulfing their minds with his voice as in the next moment, a pulse passed through them, and the world around froze.

...

Zayne\'s consciousness was transported somewhere as he found himself on top of a hill overlooking a small village, not far from which, a massive amber eye was floating in the air exuding scarlet flame.

"Mrs. Selania. According to our Oracle, this Chaos Hearth will activate in an hour, what shall we do?" The knight with the spear said, putting the blue stone into the pouch on his belt.

\'Wait... What\'s going on...? Where am I? Why is Selania here, and is it definitely her?\' Zayne inwardly muttered in confusion, looking at Selania, there was no scar on her face.

Gael wasn\'t here, no one could give him any answers, but there was no need as events passed as fast as Zayne could think at all.

Before his eyes, a squad of several knights under Selania\'s leadership headed forward, making their way toward the village.

"Is everyone ready?" Selania asked as she glanced at the tall, skinny man beside her, he had blue eyes.

\'Damn... He looks just like that stone statue... Is it really him?\' Zayne pondered.

"Yeah... I guess we won\'t have a problem clearing this Chaos Hearth, after all, it\'s only Tier Two." The man muttered, placing his hand on the hilt of his sword.

"What do you think?" Selania turned to the man behind her. He wore black armor and had unusual white eyes that immediately caught Zayne\'s attention.

"Well, the important thing is that the villagers don\'t get hurt. For their sake, I can do it." The man with the white eyes looked at his bandaged hands as if he had often been wounded or had hurt himself.

Zayne flinched, it was enough to make him realize who was in front of him, \'That\'s definitely that knight... but if he really was human before, then what happened to him?\'

The answer to that question Zayne would get very soon, for just as he blinked and the entire team of Knights ended up in the middle of the flaming lands.

The regular Knights were seriously wounded, they could no longer take part in the battle, but they had accomplished their task. There were dozens of monster corpses on the ground, with dark blood pouring from their wounds, reflecting the fire sparks.

Only three remained on their feet, a Knight with blue eyes, a man with white ones, and Selania whose snow-white armor was covered in blood.

Their enemy was a monster with red skin, horns, and two tails, each with a sharp tip. From its claws emanated crimson flames capable of burning anything.

"Hah, this is going to be a hard battle." The white-eyed man smirked, clutching his spear tightly.

"Yeah. We\'ll make it. Let\'s go." Selania said confidently, rushing into battle.

Unbeknownst to him, Zayne watched their battle. His eyes clung to every movement, every attack, giving him invaluable experience. Each of them fought at the highest level, and Selania probably surpassed even Enar in skill.

They attacked the demon from all sides, gradually overwhelming it, not even giving it a chance.

"Great! We\'re going to finish him off now." A man with white eyes exclaimed, swinging his spear.

Demon\'s pupils narrowed as its heart was pierced by the sharp tip. It was the end for the demon as a stream of blood erupted from its jaw.

"Alright! We did it!" The man exclaimed joyfully, clenching his fist tightly as he pulled the spear out.

Selania sighed, "Fine, as I suspected we handled the Tier Two Chaos Hearth without much trouble."

"Wait...? Why aren\'t the flames leaving?" The blue-eyed knight muttered as he gripped his sword tighter.

"It\'s all right. It takes time." Selania said confidently.

Suddenly the demon\'s tails came into motion as they were covered in fire. Selania flinched, quickly attacking, but it was too late.

Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.

Streams of flame rose from the ground, knocking them aside and allowing the demon to fill its body with power.

At the same moment, the demon\'s tails split apart as they grew to six, and two broad wings unfurled on his back, covered in flames as if the demon had just arrived from Hell. The red energy of Chaos flowed around its body, which was a clear signal to Selania and the others.

"Wait... It\'s a Tier Three... Moreover, if this demon had a little more energy, this one would go to the next Grade!" The man with the blue eyes exclaimed, getting ready to fight.

The next few minutes were a real massacre. As bravely as the Knights and Selania fought, the Demon was simply too strong. Each attack by the monster brought them closer to imminent defeat, it was a level beyond Zayne\'s comprehension.

\'Fuck... If I were to face an enemy like that, I couldn\'t even last ten seconds...\' Zayne muttered in disbelief.

"Roooooaaaaaaarrrrrr!!!" The demon roared furiously, raining flaming claws down on the blue-eyed man.

Selania bounced to the side as her gaze grew deeper.

"Well... I was ready for this." Selania whispered as a white coin appeared in her hand. She, like Zayne, used the power of the Fate.

At the same moment, screams so loud and pitiful that everyone could hear them came from the village, however, there was no Chaos, only blue streams of energy.

"No way..." Zayne shuddered as a chill ran down his back.
